La campionessa del Team Visma | Lease a Bike ha completato la corsa in 29 ore, 54 minuti e 24 secondi, precedendo Demi Vollering (FDJ-SUEZ) di 3’42” e Katarzyna Niewiadoma-Phinney (Canyon//SRAM Zondacrypto) di 4’09”.
Con questa vittoria, la 33enne di Reims diventa la prima francese a trionfare nel Tour Women dai tempi leggendari di Jeannie Longo, dominatrice negli anni ’80 e ’90. Dopo anni di attesa e grandi speranze, la Francia torna così a festeggiare una connazionale in maglia gialla, grazie a un’atleta che ha saputo imporsi con costanza e intelligenza tattica lungo tutte le tappe.
Il montepremi del Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift è di 251 mila euro. Alla maglia gialla spettano 50 mila euro.
